No. MFM Voice is a cloud service and needs no additional device on your network. You need a Loxone Miniserver with active Loxone remote access, an Amazon account (amazon.de) and an Echo device or the Alexa app.

Yes. The Alexa app is available for iPhone and Android. With MFM Voice you talk to your Loxone Miniserver through Alexa, in the app or via an Echo device. MFM Voice does not support Siri or Apple Home.

Any Loxone Miniserver with current firmware that is reachable from the internet. The simplest way is Loxone Remote Connect, Loxone’s remote access service; then no port forwarding on the router is needed. Very old firmware without token login is not supported.

No. Voice commands travel through Amazon and through our servers to your Miniserver. If your internet connection fails, voice control does not work. Push buttons, the Loxone app and the automation in your house carry on working regardless.

No. MFM Voice is an independent service of MFM Elektrotechnik e.K. and not a product of Loxone Electronics GmbH or of Amazon. We mention both names only to describe what MFM Voice works with.

€4.99 a month or €47.90 a year, each including VAT. Without a subscription, access ends by itself after 14 days.

No. You do not need payment details for the trial. The 14 days start as soon as you connect your Miniserver. After that, access ends by itself if you do not take out a subscription.

At any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. The quickest way is “Cancel contracts here” at the bottom of every page, without signing in. Alternatively, in your account under “Subscription”.

We store your email address, the connection details of your Miniserver and the list of allowed devices on servers in Nuremberg. The Miniserver password is held only in encrypted form. We do not store audio recordings; speech processing is done by Amazon.

Only if you share it yourself – and we advise against that. MFM Voice does not offer intercoms or access by code or NFC for sharing at all. You could share a gate, or a door opener that is set up as a switch in Loxone. There is no PIN prompt.

German. The skill currently requires an Amazon account at amazon.de and Alexa set to German.

Yes. You can add several Miniservers in one account. Each Miniserver has its own trial period and needs its own subscription. A Miniserver can only ever be connected to one MFM Voice account.

Yes, if you know the remote access address of your Miniserver and a user with its password. If you do not have the login details, your electrician can create a separate user for MFM Voice.
